The New Braunfels Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring local farmers, artists, and small businesses. Many vendors have become market staples, so you're likely to see familiar faces each week. It’s the perfect place to stock up on fresh produce, salsas, marinades, skincare products, and candles to take home. You can also enjoy treats and samples as you stroll through the market, like the freshly pressed orange juice pictured here.

New Braunfels also boasts a handful of fine dining options. Huisache Grill serves American cuisine, with standout appetizers like fried Brie topped with pecans and raspberry chipotle sauce. La Cosecha offers a fresh, upscale take on Mexican food, making it a perfect date night spot. It’s owned by the same team behind local favorite McAdoo’s Seafood Company. All of these restaurants are not only known for their flavorful menus but also their thoughtful and stylish interiors.

The coffee scene in New Braunfels continues to grow. Just a few years ago, the town had only a handful of coffee shops, many of which are still going strong today. Longstanding favorites include Kora Kora, Two Rivers, New Braunfels Coffee, and Two Tarts. New Braunfels Coffee, located right on the main plaza, is a great place to socialize while soaking in the charm of small-town life. One of the newest additions is Chapter Co., a cozy blend of bookstore and coffee shop that opened less than a year ago, offering a quiet space to sip and read.
